your information when you use our mobile application, Athmana.

In Short: We collect information that you choose to create or store in the app.
Athmana lets you read Bible passages and create personal notes,
reflections, highlights, drawings, and exported note documents. If
you create content in the app, that content is stored on your device.
Sensitive Information. We do not intentionally process sensitive personal information.
Application Data. If you use our application, we may process the following information if you choose to provide access or use the related features:
- Geolocation Information. Athmana may request access to your location when creating a note so the note can optionally include where it was created. Location use is optional and can be disabled in your device settings.
- Mobile Storage and Files. Athmana stores notes and app data locally on your device and may create exported files such as note documents or PDFs when you use sharing features.
- iCloud Documents. If iCloud is available and enabled on your device, notes may sync through your iCloud account across your Apple devices.
- Diagnostics. We may receive standard Apple crash and diagnostic information made available through Apple's platform services.
All information you choose to store in Athmana should be accurate and
appropriate for your own use. You can change app permissions in your
device settings.
2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?
In Short: We process your information to provide the app's reading, note-taking, syncing, exporting, and support features.
We may process your information for the following purposes:
- To display Bible verses and language-specific content inside the app
- To save your notes, highlights, drawings, and verse references
- To attach optional location details to notes you create
- To sync notes across devices using Apple's iCloud services when available
- To generate shared note files or PDFs when you use export or share features
- To diagnose crashes, improve app performance, and maintain security

- Sharing Actions You Initiate. If you export or share notes or PDFs, the selected content is shared using the iOS share sheet and the destination you choose.
- Legal Requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or legal process.
- Business Transfers. We may share or transfer information in connection with a merger, sale, financing, or acquisition.
5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
In Short: We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this notice unless a longer period is required by law.
Notes and related app content are generally kept until you delete them,
remove the app, or remove them from your iCloud storage. Some copies
may temporarily remain in device backups or iCloud according to Apple's
systems and retention practices.
6. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.
No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be
completely secure. You should use the app and share exported content
only in environments you consider secure.
7. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?
In Short: Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information and to withdraw consent.
You may also manage much of your information directly in the app or on
your device by deleting notes, removing shared files, disabling
location permissions, or turning off iCloud syncing.
8. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Because Athmana is a mobile app and not a web tracking service, it
does not currently respond to browser Do-Not-Track signals.
9. DO UNITED STATES RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?
